>How do teachers not notice it?Depended on the class. In history my desk was at the top of the class while everyone else sat in the back. The teacher spent most of the class back with them so she had her back turned to me. She was also really boring so it was easy to fall asleep.
My Irish teacher once caught me dozing and slammed a book on my desk to wake me up. Scared the shit into me. He almost did it again another class but I lifted my head up and spotted him while he was sneaking up on me, he was really disappointed.
There was one class that he saw me drifting in and out of consciousness and he made me put my head down and sleep. I didn't think I was that tired but I fell asleep without knowing and woke up 15 minutes later when the bell rang.
My Irish teacher was actually really sound. Made me feel bad that I was terrible at Irish.
