>>1247023The problem isn't that they're Hispanic, it's that the island is financially insolvent and everyone who can leaves, so you have an entire population of mostly unskilled laborers with very low English fluency rates. That's a labor pool that's already being covered in the US economy and we could do without inheriting their mountain of debt.
If one day Puerto Rico is able to become financially stable and hit at least majority English speaking, I say let them in.
