I'm from just outside of there, near Amerhsam. I spent my whole youth and 20's going into London. Raving at Bagley's, Stratford rex, scala, turnmills, fabric, SE1 all those palaces going up to Chelsea for the football, and all the London aways, West ham, Watford, yids etc all birthdays, nights out, theatre tickets for Xmas presents. Genuinely one of the best cities in the world and i have been to a lot of places. Yes you have some of the worst places in Britain on the edges, Somalis and Muslim shit holes but the price you pay for so much choice and vibrancy is the odd ruined area. I moved to the deepest countryside on the borders a couple of years back met a Welsh girl, took her to London last winter beofre the lockdown kickednina gain and went to parts of londonnid never down beofre becuase it was tourist trip for her. Even as a tourist it was fucking great city, cocktails up the shard, lunch in borough market, walk about West end and finish with a look about and drinks in camden.
