You might have thought of B eventually considering that you knew A and you knew C, but you didn't know B until you took shrooms, or nearly died, or had a deep conversation with someone, etc..
It is no different than deep introspection, but with mushrooms to grease the wheels of thought. If you take enough of them, you experience ego death, which lets you view things seemingly from a blank slate, as though you never experienced the things that helped form your personality. You view the world as objectively as is humanly possible.

Just because you are low IQ and can't into introspection doesn't mean that other people's experiences don't exist. I wouldn't expect you to have any revelations if you took shrooms unknowingly. When I do them, I am prepared for what comes next and I have something or some things that I intend to ponder when I am on my trip.
