But some people prefer really fit, muscled people, some prefer leaner looks, some like a soft body, and some even like chubby and fat people. I don't know why each person likes what they like, but the very aspect of it existing is proof enough people's tastes are diverse enough to like a "muscled man". It's in the same vein of preferred hair color, or height, or skin color. It's vanity.
