>>1249510Well, I can testify that it worked on me, I used to misbehave a lot before that. The problem is that most of the parents that spank their children probably do it too much, and they probably aren't much of a role model to begin with. Funnily enough, most of the brats I met during childhood were children that weren't spanked by their parents, so I would say it depends more on how the parents raise the child rather than the methods they (though taking the methods to an extreme measure definitely doesn't work).
