I switched because MacOS is better for desktop use. I don't care if I can write my own ACPId scripts that do cool things, I just want to use my computer. The scripts I use even work on MacOS, just with a few modifications. Plus MacOS is the only OS that can do high PPI right.
I can not go back to low PPI screens.
