The impression I get is that religious life is shrinking in this degenerate and irreligious """""society""""" and becoming less visible because of that, but it's also becoming more withdrawn than it used to be as the wider world (or at least White countries, now is as good a time to be Catholic as it's ever been in non-Islamic Africa and Asia) becomes more hostile to it. The school she teaches at has no trouble finding pupils, and she isn't the only young person there, but they don't engage as much with the public as they used to.
You also just wouldn't know she was a nun most of the time. They don't wear their habits 24/7, although she still stands out somewhat since women as young as her usually dress like sluts now.
