>>12535574Thanks. Depends where you are, we have lots of different climates and environments, some places get summer rain, some winter rain. Bushveld hunting is a lot different from hunting on the plains, up North you hardly ever take a shot over 150m, down South you're lucky if you get one under 200m. I think you can find somewhere to hunt year round, remember it's all private so as long as there's a farmer willing (which there always is) you can go shoot.
>>12535575I haven't had it fresh, but heard it's great, so I'm looking forward to trying it. But it has enough fat in the meat that you don't need to add any when cooking, they say it looks like mutton. That girl's clean carcass (head & feet off, guts out) is 109kg, so I'll have plenty.
The blesbuck is just going for jerky and droewors.
