>>1256082>In a capitalist society they would all work for a single administrator, whose job is to make sure the final product is good. The people who organize labor such as managers and CEOs ARE technically part of the working class, though they hold these positions because they are appointed by the people above them, while communists feel that those positions should be chosen democratically by the rest of the workers (basically think of how co-op businesses work). The ruling, capitalist class refers to people who receive money simply due to the fact that they already own vast sums of wealth and are able to use it to gain even more in the form of rent or dividends or sleazy practices such as market manipulation and usury rather than actually performing labor, that's why I mentioned parasitic trust fund kids so you would know exactly the sort of people I'm talking about.
In capitalism and other right-wing systems, any property someone owns is considered private property. Communists and other leftists on the other hand, make a distinction between property that you personally use (personal property) and property that is used solely for extracting wealth from others (private property). Communists think that people are entitled to their personal property such as their house, their car, and anything else they personally use, but when a bunch of wealthy Arabs and Russians bought tons of homes in London purely for the sake of money laundering and market manipulation, that shit does not fly with us.
As Thomas Jefferson once pointed out, the notion of property is purely a social construct- I could declare myself the emperor of the world and it wouldn't mean shit unless the rest of society acknowledges it. Thus, when the system of private property only favors a tiny handful of people at the expense of everyone else, then the people who are getting screwed over have every right to say "fuck that noise".
