Does loud fan and gpu or ram usage cause bad anxiety for anyone else? I can't stop worrying about it breaking. I can't lose everything

If you still are worried then you can try to unbloat your computer. Remember to use Linux instead of Windows, like for example Ubuntu. If you do that then your computer will last for an eternity and still be a thing when you are dead. Your great grandchildren will be able to use it.

Why would you lose everything? Take backups.
Even if you don't take backups, you can fry the GPU like an egg and the hard drive should be unaffected.

Thats why i spent a ton of money on getting a water cooling loop in my PC. At 100% gpu usage the fan does not need to speed up at all from idle.

Its a shame, Windows optimized a bit with Windows 7 and 8, then they undid any improvements and went maximum BLOAT in Windows 10. It uses over 4 GB of RAM on idle.
