>>12551646a girls' autism is pretty different, but it exists
you may not meet them tho because they often hole up in their rooms with a grand total of one acquaintance kek
I know 2. One is a family member and it would've been impossible to meet her otherwise kek.
The other is actually my "ex/gf".
She always gets really anxious when having another human in the same room for more than like an hour, and crowds make her panic internally. She knows how to deal with small parties of like 20 people, but with difficulty. When that happens she gets holed up for a month or two.
What else hmm. She is crazy smart but is hard to maintain real conversations of non autistic subjects. I have never in my life seen her succesfully small talk. I am aware she has been practicing but honestly she's awful.
I have never seen her wear make up, despite her sister's best efforts. Well, once, it was pretty funny.
She doesn't know how to dress. She just puts on the first things she finds, even if it doesn't match.
On our dates she sometimes tries though. It's cute.
Now, if you see her in college, she seems functional. Beyond the odd fact of zero make up in 2021, and how rude she may seem at small talk, it would be hard to tell her apart. But when you get to know her you can see she really suffers until she sits on the corner.
Yet somehow, she is one of the smartest humans I know.
Well the "gf" was in quotes because we are sort of dating but not really. We went "official" a few days but she freaked out. She can't go physical, hugs and kisses were the barrier. She prefers not labeling it until she gets better. I almost gave up and ghosted her but I like the girl so Ill wait and go ever so slowly.
It's fun with her so I'll lead the way. I'm a bit autistic too, anyway.
Now this is my story. I rarely write my shit. Dont be mean pls.
