What I don't understand is how there seemed to be so many leftist accelerationists supporting the lockdowns as a means to erode faith in markets. Even with the entire economy shut down, food is still cheap, shelves are still stocked, etc. If anything, the lockdowns have been one massive flex on the part of market systems. If markets are robust enough to keep essential goods cheap even under these conditions, while leftists struggled to keep food on shelves under normal conditions, I would be doing everything possible to end the lockdowns just to end the mogging if I were a leftist.
