BTC is impractical for fucking day trading, never mind being used as an actual currency; £11 fees to create _any_ transaction? Does that sound sane to you? And don't fucking start with Bitcoin Lightning or other layer two shit, I've implemented BOLT 9 and 11, this stuff is built so incompetently that it can barely hold its own weight, never mind that of a country

Bitcoin is less anonymous than cash. Bitcoin literally tells everybody where you spend your money and it keeps that permnately. If even 1 transaction in your wallet can be linked to you then everybody will know every transaction you ever made with that wallet.
