H. sapiens female primates do the same thing---mimic successful survival strategies of their alpha females. Females don't think things through the way that men do. They copy. They don't lead. They follow the alpha females, and alpha females have more male brains and can figure shit out because they copy alpha males.
If your female partner is an alpha, you will have heard her complain about other women copying her every look, thought, action, etc.
Interestingly, as female puberty began to rise higher in age, in response to different evolutionary pressures brought about by higher civilization, the "tomboy" phenomenon began, women who naturally thought and behaved more like males do. This was the evolution of women happening in real time and look at what the powers that be did. They introduced feminism and sexual liberation. The "tomboy" phenomenon is disappearing and female puberty has started declining in age, with girls as young as 8 getting periods. Women have reverted back to proto-human mimicry and they are no longer evolving.
