I'm sorry, I don't understand car culture. Why do you have to scare people with your engine in the middle of the night

I understand liking cars and driving, and me and my mom both like a very peculiar type of car and driving feel, I can understand it.

But modding and really loud engines.. ehh I just think it's obnoxious.
