Now you get called a hipster or an avant-teen if you listen to jazz, classical, or even an obscure rock band. It's pretty fucked considering /mu/ used to be on the forefront of taste. It's been flooded with people who want to be a part of the "indie music-sphere" but don't want to work to develop their taste into something truly unique. Even worse is that /mu/core has provided a safe space for people like this. It's pretty much done for at this point.
