Working at a liquor store has quite the benefits.
I went into work today on my day off. I wasnt paid for it as this is my vacation week for resting up.
I went in to solely test potentially incoming product.
20 cans, 3 wines, 2 bloody mixes, a rum, 6 shooters, 2 tequilas.
Quite the perk!

Roughly 2 weeks of vacation, discounted healthcare($80/month), comfy workshoes they pay for, and two 30 minute paid breaks. Although it's a 12.5 hour shift alternating 4 days/week and 3 days/week. So literally no time to do anything before going to sleep on a workday.

It's the one upside to having all liquor controlled by the state. That and prices are predictable and usually not any higher than neighboring states. Everything else about it is dumb.

It's a safe bet that no matter what disaster or virus or war is going on, people will still want to get drunk. I would love to work at a liquor store or bar simply for the perks, but doubt my PO would be okay with it.
