Why is Linux such a pain in the ass? Nowhere in the installation process of Linux did it tell me it has an app store to download anything I want from with a simple click. I wasted an hour trying to get libreoffice and this other freeoffice thing to install off the internet and libreoffice's site didn't say a word about it.

open up a terminal and then (if you are on debian) type

sudo apt install libreoffice

Ubuntu tells you that there is an app store. Also read about linux package managers. the "app store" is usually just a front end for your package mangers. If you use a Debian based system (most of the beginner distros are debian based) then your package manager is called apt.

I used Manjaro. Maybe I shouldve done a more common one. The package manager froze and didn't finish the download. I can't get sound to switch to my speakers, and the start button cant be clicked on, only opened with the windows key.
