Almost 1/5 of all people are lefties around here, more women than men. Myself, my mother, one of three sisters, and best friend are lefties.

Left-handedness runs in families.

Also, lefties have a correlation to schizophrenia.

Not that that's related to my family in any way. Or to myself. I'd prefer not to engage in violence. Also please believe we're not coming for you.

Nobody really care if you carry your phone or write with your left hand, but if you decide to give something to your father or take anything from him with your left (unless if your right hand is busy carrying something), then he will consider it as disobedience and disrespect.

I've been to both of these countries and can attest that lefties need to learn to use their right hand to interact with other people, but that doesn't necessarily mean lefties are hated. We just need to learn social skills, just like any other cultural adaptation.
