yes, I just do weekly checks on them, via text or maybe a phone call. it never hurts. sometimes they want to meet up or others times no.

Sounds good to me. I live two minutes walk away from my mom and my sister. I see my family several times a week, so i guess we‘re pretty close. But when i get overwhelmed i often don‘t feel like socializing with them anymore.
