- when there was so called "referendum" in Crimea, then it was already occupied by Russia.
- by the laws of Ukraine, it is possible to do only referendum in all of Ukraine. By this way, separation of Crimea would be impossible.
>International recognition:
- in 2014 there was 11 countries which recognized Crimea as Russia. In 2017 there are only 6: North Korea, Afghanistan, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua.
