But something I've noticed lately is that people move too quickly. The older we get, the more we rush relationships.
Maybe everybody should raise their standards, but standards are lowered when people are desperate.
I don't think there are few sane people left - it's just that potential couples aren't meeting in the first place. When you gets a chance, even if they aren't up to your standards, you go for it anyway, because it'll be years before you meet someone again.
