Tax the Rich
Employ people by finally repairing potholes, paid for by the rich taxes
Enforce corruption investigations.
Demand that all public money is publicly available, including the tx returns and income statements of all politicians
Legally protect unions.
It's not "hard", nobody is motivated in your culture. You have to stand together to fix those things that don't work, and this doesn't fit individualism. And that's okay, but stop claiming your better than us, because your proud of people having it worse than you, instead of you having it as good as those above you. It's a weird way americans are looking.
India has acheived many things they decided to do. Toilets is one of them. People stood together, and supported the development for a better life for all, and did it. Indians didn't go "WHAT, are the poor to have as good sanitation as me?! NO WAY" - that's what americans sound like, when they fight giving people a living wage.
