Do you think continually surrounding yourself with influences from the outside world will make your creativeness significantly deteriorate and eventually come to a standstill?

Consooming certainly does kill creativity. I wouldn't say every outside influence does though.

I'd say it does. It makes you feel like everything you see or think about is just a copy or hidden allusion to something else that you've seen before, or that maybe you haven't seen, but that you imagine exists because it appeared somewhere else that you do know exists, which leads to the assumption that there must have been something that both sprang from.
It's all intertwined snakes and worms slithering amongst one another.
