Mathematics is done in terms. First number is a term. Second group is its own term. The multiplication of 2(2+1) take precedence. Why? Because otherwise fucking equations don't work. 2(2+1)=6, because you can do multiplication and division in any fucking order you want.
6÷2(2+1)=6÷2(2+1)
6÷2(3)=6÷(4+2)
Both are legal operations.
If the answer ISN'T x=1, then it breaks the basic mechanics of mathematical functions. And no, whatever thought you just had is probably fucking wrong so shut the cock hole on your face.
