Oh hey, that's past me you're talking about!
I smoked for about half those years, so I have some staining still, and drink coffee in the morning right after brushing, so staining from that too. Other than that, my teeth are fine. And for a while, I never brushed and drank mountain dew all day, figure that out.

I wonder if I didn't get my wisdom teeth removed. I did and my mom paid for it. It gave me nerve damage that still exists to this day on the right side of my tongue, how ever it has stopped being an issue after months of no pain, nerve pain and now just pain numbness, but feeling.

It is a scam. Nothing will go wrong with your teeth unless you drink too much sugary drinks, or if you eat lots of fibrous food which can get stuck in between and rot. Haven't been to one in years. Never flossed either. My teeth are fine albeit they do have a bit of a yellowish tinge.
I probably have a cavity or three but they're as natural as the flora in my belly. Totally painless and virtually unnoticeable if you don't eat too much sugar.
