I mean, a general rule of thumb when it comes to making money through investment is that if someone is talking about it in a public place then there is probably no profit in it or 95% of the profit has been reaped by someone who does this shit for a living.

Think of traditionally useful jobs or careers that make an income you could tolerate living on, and pick the one that you would hate doing the least. Unless you're really self-driven and intelligent, you probably can't make it outside of typical job or career paths. Most of the profit in the stonks/trading/investment game is putting money where not a lot of other people are and profiting off a spike before people find out there's profit and cause it to naturally balance out.
They might be able to tell you how to make SOME money off specific things. But chances are they're only telling you once the big bucks are long gone and your investment is probably just to bolster theirs.

That is to say it can be mutually beneficial, but they're not divulging the secrets of their trade because every bit of real information they give you can only harm their profits. Do you have faith in the charity of tradeniggers? I sure don't.
