>>12829003they aren't. they literally just get more chances. they also lie about their age for their benefit. two scenarios:
Jose Altuve and Ozzie Albies, two hispanic players born outside the US. Altuve is 5'6'' and Albies is 5'8''. both of them have home run power, good defense, good speed, and hit for average. the fact they are both manlets is irrelevant, they aren't being drafted by scouts for college, they are ONLY being signed for professional contracts. In this case, each player is actually 25, and well within their "peak" physical years. But they tell all the scouts they are only 21.
Look at how many hispanic players were "on pace" to be best ever, then their careers just NOSEDIVED. it's because they are all actually 3-5 years older than they claim. Can you really tell the difference between a 21 year old hispanic that is 5'6'' and a 25 year old hispanic that is 5''6''? and since they aren't involved in the aau/hs/college system, they can simply just like....play baseball. like, what American kid has a chance to even keep playing after they turn 18 if they don't play college ball? But a hispanic can literally just PLAY BASEBALL until they are prime age, then claim they are younger, then get a contract.
Now the other scenario, John Alto and Oswald Albany, two American players born inside the US. Alto is 5'6'' and Albies is 5'8'', both of them have home run power, good defense, good speed, and hit for average. the story ends here, because NO college scout is going to EVER EVEN LOOK at a 5'6'' white kid. EVER. The end. That kid that is 5'6'' by the time he hits his physical peak is likely just as powerful and talented as Altuve or Albies. But he quit playing baseball after two years in college and moved on with his life and everyone knows he's 25 now and has no chance.
seriously, white kids DO NOT get the chance. If you are under 6'0'', the scouts won't even look at you. but if you are a manlet spic, they don't care.
