Obviously the state can do bad things when it’s run by bad people, but the solution to leftism is not libertarianism, because that’s just hyper-leftism.
When the state is artificially removed or stunted, power doesn’t disappear, and nature abhors a vacuum. That vacuum is filled by the second most powerful entity in societies- cooperative profit-driven enterprises. Libertarianism will never create or maintain strong families because it naturally incentivizes feminism via the fact that it’s not profitable to simply ignore half the entire population as potential laborers and consumers.
There is a competitive edge in having women work, have their own money, and spend their own money. In many ways women make better consumers, and workers in certain white-collar jobs, than men- they save less, spend more on novel frivolities, and as employees they’re less likely to demand raises or break off and start a competing company. This traditional gender roles and family units are subverted as women are incentivized to spend their most fertile years sitting in classrooms and offices. A family having only one working parent, where the mother puts the whole of her energy and effort into that family, is good for society but not for corporations.
Basically, the state CAN be gay, but libertarianism has a hard-coded guarantee to always be gay
