I decided to keep up with nowadays' WoW lore and holy fucking shit. It just doesn't stop getting worse. As if the space aliens weren't bad enough, now there's the great big bad Satan 2.0 (because one big bad Satan didn't do it, we need two of them) and literal angels meandering about in "hell" and "heaven". They're digging up all the loved characters from WC3 and absolutely SHREDDING them. All that shaped Warcraft doesn't exist anymore, it's all gone or entirely retconned. This is literally baby tier lore too, there's no intrigue, nothing, it's just good vs bad, hero becoming villain, villain becoming hero and all of the boring ass shticks which never work. I feel like I'm watching a bad Chinese ripoff of WotLK. I'm malding and I sure do regret getting into it. There will never be another MMORPG which'll make our eyes glimmer as much as early days WoW did...
