>>12914929I do believe in a creator, or perhaps creators.
As for god's laws, they are immutable, you will always be punished for breaking or trying to break them, and no technology will save you from the consequences.
What I don't believe in is, that anyone on Earth has ever been privy to who or what created all this.
Religions are, at best, just stories, and, at worst, power scams.
All religions are cults, they all revolve around charismatic leaders, either current ones or past ones.
Nobody has any knowledge regarding what created the universe. If even one person was told, everyone would have been told, because god(s) has no need for any human to act as a "messenger" to the rest of the world.
If he/they want you to know anything, he/they will tell you directly.
In the meantime, listen to the morality that was built into you, which basically translates into not hurting other people unnecessarily (and, yes...sometimes it's necessary to hurt someone, but your reason needs to be just).
As for natural laws...they police themselves, and, ultimately, you'll never gain by breaking them.
Oh, and nothing is "forgiven". Karma is also a natural and immutable law.
