Require work/education programs for welfare, and put a three year cap on it. Too many stupid fucks and dirty pieces of shit are getting a free ride as reward for being fuck ups. I know some of them personally.
Deport 90% of all illegal immigrants. (Lettuce doesn't harvest itself.) Send their anchor babies with them. Their countries have schools. It costs $25,000/yr+ per student even in shitty states. That's $325,000 for K-12, per child, AT LEAST. Fucking border jumper kids cost that much money to educate, and they all have 4 or 5 each, for the WIC benefits. Our education system is suffocating under the weight of anchor babies whose parents aren't putting in any money, of course it's fucked!
Same with the hospitals. Emergency rooms are packed with people who go in planning to never pay, and it's illegal to turn them away. We should require proof of identity before release. So we can hunt down deadbeats and make them pay. Deport anyone here illegally, because they won't be paying anyway. That's why our healthcare is so high. Paying for people who refuse to pay their fair share, like illegal immigrants and bill-dodgers.
Use public universities to write basic textbooks, instead of buying them from publishers. End the scam that is $60 english textbooks every year, when you could simply have universities write decent ones and license them under CC. Allow them to be printed by anyone. Schools can pay $5/book instead of $60. Responsible students could work through the book on their own at home and using online resources.
Require exit exams for high school, which require english & math proficiency. A high school diploma means nothing in this country. I don't give a shit what the dirty wetbacks say about it being discriminatory to require english proficiency.
Mandatory fitness requirements, like running 1 mile per day.
