I don't care if you developed discipline or got regular exercise and learning. You didn't learn anything about physics or why boxing has weight divisions.

Bruce Lee himself said that most kung fu was bullshit built on ceremony and image and that an average athlete trained in western wrestling and boxing would wipe the floor with every kung fu "master" in Hong Kong. He also said Muhammed Ali was the most dangerous fighter in the world of any style. There is a chinese mma fighter named Xu Xiaodong who is not even close to being a high-level pro fighter, more like an accomplished amateur, and his hobby is challenging kung fu masters and embarrassing them.

The fighting techniques that work the best are the ones used in mma. In a nutshell it all comes down to punching, kicking, and wrestling and everything else is nonsense.

jiu jitsu is wrestling. muay thai is punching and kicking. I'm using those as general terms but there are many forms of each of them. High-level pro mma fighters learn as many styles and systems as they can because it can all be useful.

I bet you would never ever have the discipline or balls to develop your own qong fu fighting style, and the term you are looking for is "wing chung", the YT channels you see talk about how ancient wing chung is not competitive and thats okay, but you just spewed a lot of "entry level" stuff for MMA kids. My feed is also full of that stuff man...I'm tired of small dick energy dudes obsessed about saying how only BJJ and Muay Thai are effective at beating people to pulp; missing the whole idea of the great variety of beautiful martial arts.

Depends on your definition of "Marital Art." If you're thinking "Kung Fu/McDojo" shit, yea. You're right.
But if you think you can get into a street fight with an NCAA wrestler and come out better than worse, you're delusional. Unless you've got years of Boxing, Muay Thai, or Juijitsu under your belt, you'll get smashed. Because it is a Martial Art.
So really, it depends on what you consider a "Martial Art."
