It doesn't just distort your perceptions and fuck with your head like LSD or shrooms. With DMT you get blasted into a completely different reality and you're 100% there while some kind of supernatural entity tries to explain the true nature of everything to you. Oh and you experienced complete ego death on the way in so you aren't even "you" anymore.
Even though I know that it's all just hallucinations caused by chemicals in my brain, there's still a part of me that isn't completely convinced. And I have extensove experience with brain-altering chemicals.
If I was a normie who had an accident or something and woke up in the hospital after experiencing something like an intense DMT trip, I would be absolutely 100% convinced it was a real spiritual experience.
