You could join a startup or go to some startup meetups. You have to be kind of interested in that stuff to do it but just forming a team to work on a product is a good way to meet people, and you have to talk a lot as a team so you get to know them pretty well. There's various types of jobs too, not just business or programming, there's design, research, marketing, all kinds of specialist stuff. Our you could come up with your own startup idea and meet people to help you

Stop being an introvert and go play basketball. If you see a guy shooting hoops alone ask if you can "run 2s" you can get into a 1v1 game and simply keep joining more and more teams. Consistently play in your local park for a month or so and you'll see the same faces over and over and become familiar then you can offer to hang out outside the court doing something social like going hiking, canoeing, to the club etc.

Honestly that's basically what I did and my life is fine. If you can support yourself well, you'll meet friends organically over time. Everyone in burgerland talking about community are all sandwich artists. Live a purposeful life and you'll meet people actually worth meeting. They're not common, in my opinion.

Depends on what you like to do.
I just went to a big lake I’m where I live in Colorado brought some beers and my kayak. Met group of people my age (mid-late 20s) and got their numbers to kayak and camp a bunch this summer. One of them was a hot blond and she’s been hitting me up asking to meet up for lunch soon. Life’s good man.

Finally, go there and do it! I wasn’t great at riding and took a lot of breaks. Other dirt bike bros would stop for their breaks by me and we’d exchange pleasantries. I’d ask about the trail, they’d tell me. Eventually I ran into guys who I naturally joked around with instead of just trail talkin. Got their number to meet up to ride again. It’s that easy. Dude’s don’t take friend maintenance like girls do. Just meet up to do activities, no dry texting for nothin

You don't meet people to become friends. If you are happy with yourself and follow your interests, people naturally want to be around you. Not everything in your life has to be perfect for that. I was in a similar situation once, very much a stay at home type. But i love my pet fish and my fishtanks and it is a hobby i am deeply involved with. Since it's my interest, i took a second job in a local fish store, was active in forums and went to meetups, even bred and sold fish as a side hustle. Before i knew it i was involved with a ton of people with similar interests and invited to a lot of stuff. It resulted in some long-lasting friendships. Somtimes making friends is as easy as going somewhere you want to be at. My advice is to pick a hobby of yours, even one as simple as keeping fish, and look for ways to spend more time with it.
