Question asks the probability of drawing another gold ball, no which box you’ve picked. You’ve already drawn a gold ball, so box 3 is irrelevant information. There are now four balls left. Three gold, one silver. Gold Ball 1 is boxed with Gold Ball 2, Gold Ball 3 is boxed with Silver Ball.

There is a 1/3 chance you’ve drawn GB1, and will draw GB2.
There is a 1/3 chance you’ve drawn GB2, and will draw GB1.

Bertrand solution depends on the ability to identify the balls. This question does not imply the balls can be identified. They can no be numbered. When you are looking at the 2G box and you take out the first ball out of that box, that is not the 4th or the 5th ball out of 6, that is the 1st ball out of that box. Either G ball you take out, will be the 1st ball out of that box, if you can not identify them. The proof very clearly states that condition. I don't know what else to tell you.

It IS about wording but the monty hall problem is inherently different from the one in OP
In Monty Hall, the answer is 2/3 if you switch, because your first choice isn't revealed

In OP's question, to make it similar to Monty Hall problem, you would have to NOT know that you picked a gold ball
I.e. : you pick a ball at random, you don't know what it is, but what are the odds that you pick a gold ball from the same box

There is no "IF" the coin is gold, you already know it is
Try this:

The question is not "What are the odds of picking two gold balls from the same box", the question is "You have already picked one gold ball", thus, the odds of getting the gold ball in the first place are not important
Could be two balls or two thousand balls in the box, it'll always be 50/50
