i'm a locksmith at a prison. I'm in charge of maintaining/fixing all the locks and locking mechanisms on all the doors, gates, windows, etc. i'm basically the guy with the keys to the prison.

Its boring as fuck, and there are more real bible reading christians in prison then there are in the real world. Theres a few depraved asshole psychopaths but you learn who they are pretty quick. Some guards are alright some are power tripping assholes. The food is legit better than what kids are fed in public school, i only ate 1 of the meals a day you can easily trade the other 2 away.
All in all not that bad, never raped, theres more than enough consentual faggots in prison you arent actually gonna be raped.

It's policy that our position doesn't have any contact with prisoners. If i'm in an area where prisoners are present there are always at least two other guards there. The purpose being that we don't develop any kind of relationship with prisoners which might present the opportunity for them to bribe us, or have the opportunity to pass them something like a key for instance.
