What's more, they'll call you crazy. In a world where both public and private interests make hand over fist to insert themselves into every aspect of your existence from birth, we're just to trust total strangers are aloof and benign. The very best we can hope, is they're far too self absorbed to even consider it. But that self absorption is also motivated by power and money, so why would they ever actually leave you alone, ever? Why did your parents ever say "don't talk to strangers", though strangers are forever encroaching into your life? People aren't people. I'm convinced.
