When I was a child and was bored, I would sometimes close my eyes and cover them with the palm of my hands. Mostly you see black but can see color tracers of red blue and green. At first its all just random, unorganized patterns of these color tracers that I'd see. Then after about 3-5 minutes, the colored lines and blobs form into beautiful geometric patterns and I was in for what felt like was a roller coaster ride through this like holographic city/landscape environment. The thing about it though, was I couldn't focus too hard on what I was experiencing because if I did, the cool roller coaster ride starts to evaporate and its back to the unorganized lines and blobs.

Every now and then, I try to mimic my past experience of this, but I don't enter into that exciting holographic world anymore. I haven't tried especially hard to re-enter this experience so that might be the reason, but then again, I wasn't really trying when I was doing it as a kid.

Pic sorta related, its the the best example I can find but not as colorful since its just blue. And the patterns were way more intricate from my childhood experiences. Anyone else have a similar experience when they were young?
