Depends a bit on your focus in the field, if you don't do more than intro immunology you aren't going to be much more informed than anyone else. Frankly it was the years of working in biotech that quickly set off red flags for me, you just don't ship out experimental drugs that fast.

the embarrassing thing is that the scientific method is taught in elementary, high school and any first year science courses. I guess most people forget about it though because none of our marks or education are actually dependant on our ability to apply it.
I actually had a bio lab were I lost marks on my report because I got an unexpected result and tried to explain it honestly instead of just changing it to match the expected value like most other people in the class.

Either Covid is the big contagious and I've miraculously avoided it for a year and a half, or I caught it and barely noticed. If it's the former, it's not some extreme spreader and it's not a threat. If it's the latter, then I have antibodies and it's not a threat.

The NHS have recently been dragged for trying to push through a thing saying they can sell people's personal data to random companies because "helpful".
