I.e. make governments beholden to the people again by instating laws which apply to them and creating transparency in government, and make lobbying illegal since it is basically bribery.
An ethics, efficacy and intelligence test should be mandatory for all government officials as well.
Also outlaw anyone who is affiliated with corporations from entering into office. Whether they are ex-employees or in present terms tied to corporations financially they should not be allowed into office/power.
