How come american cartoons are always anthropomorphic animals or if they are humans they look like deformed fat oblong shapes (stephen universe), and yet Japanese cartoons, even when geared toward children always have human proportions and aim to have realistic anatomy for the characters. Japanese anime is undeniably easier on the eyes than the furry shit American’s get. Why is this?
