>>13059649I have a extensive gardens that have flowers blooming throughout the year. I walk all round them every day without fail - and always put rehydrated mealworms and mixed seeds onto about a dozen feeding stations - mainly for the wild birds.
So every day, at least once, I am certain to see multiple flowers. Sure, they are not all fragrant to the extent that I can smell them, but at the moment I have a particularly large climbing rose bush with literally hundreds of strong scented flowers and the aroma is unmissable within a range of up to 10 metre radius.
Last time I was aware of those roses, was yesterday afternoon and I will be going out to feed the birds in about another 15 minutes - so I will unavoidably smell the roses without deliberately making a special effort to do so.
