Steam should let users spend their excess accumulated points in the PointsShop on games in the store, or steam store "purchase vouchers" what do you guys think?

Can't their API runs a lot of DRM and many games run on it, do not have their own store front along with use the API to even perform their multiplayer tasks.
The API is more of a curse, because people abuse the fuck out of it so they can be lazy.

I honestly hate the point shop. Too many animated profile pictures, avatar frames, and backgrounds. I hate when I look at someone's profile that has all of that and cause a huge lag. Remove the point shop.
