Detectives initially identified one suspect they believed was involved in trafficking cocaine and marijuana within Arizona and throughout the rest of the country using the United States Postal Service. On June 30, search warrants were simultaneously served at three different locations.

At the first location, investigators arrested two men, but detectives say a third man tried to get away from them by jumping off the balcony of a fourth story apartment. He was eventually caught and taken into custody. The suspects have been identified as Tayden Bolton, Matthew Maddigan and Issac Mercado, all 20 years old. They were interviewed and booked into the Maricopa County Jail.
