>>13096869You always read these infographics people post about the bible admonishing race-mixing, the bible describing people who are clearly white.
I decided to get an interlinear bible (with the original Hebrew of the OT and original Greek of the NT) along with Strong's Concordance and start translating.
You know what I'm finding: They are absolutely right. The bible begins its story not 6000 years ago, but about 43000 years ago. (Shitty translation of a word as "year" that really means more like "cycle," "generation," or "repetition.") It EXPLICITLY describes non-whites as beasts. It EXPLICITLY forbids mixing races. The whole world was not covered by the Great Flood (14,000 years ago it says, by the way), only the lands where our people were at risk of dying out due to race-mixing. Only the highest HILLS in the region were covered.
It was NOT a rib taken out of Adam. It was half of him ("one side" of him), as in our mate is the other half of us.
The bible NEVER claimed it had not rained before the flood came. It says God had never cast seed to plant cultivated crops yet.
Oh, I am learning a great, great deal.
The going is slow as fuck, and I'm left with the dilemma of why the existing translations are so bad—stupidity, or AGENDA?
