Don't let big farmer trick you, salmonella poisoned chicken that reeks of sulphur is perfectly safe to eat as long as you cook it fully.
Most cases of salmonella poisoning come from unsanitary kitchen utensils and infrequent handwashing.
I've eaten salmonella chicken for 2 days in a row now with no ill effect.
