I just don't remember there being that many beautiful women, except maybe a couple on the beach towards Venice, but obv tourists.
The bike ride from the pier to Venice Beach is pretty cool, there's also a small aquarium under the pier people don't know about. It's a good date spot.
There are a few good restaurants and 3rd street is interesting I guess.
It's very removed from the rest of LA though so if you plan on going to Hollywood or studio tours, Universal, or hanging out with friends who live in LA, it'll take forever. Learn when rush hour is and what directions it happens. The 405 is a parking lot.
I live in San Diego and it's basically like a large scale version of Santa Monica as far as beaches and nice shops, piers, and restaurants go, and the traffic is manageable.
Don't move here we're full, but come visit.
