>>13131799not entirely but largely. i think i could recall most of the general concepts, but probably not any implementations of it
>>13131813that's the hope. my understanding is that when you go through JET you bascially tell them a priority list of where you'd like to be and they try to accommodate it depending on demand and how well qualified you are. i'll need to look into stuff a lot more while i'm there, but i plan on putting hokkaido in general at the top of the list currently
well i don't think studying finance necessarily means your whole life revolves around your own money or anything. just means you know what to do with it better as you work 9-5 handling other people's money
>>13131830i think part of the reason they don't do this beside the long windedness of it is that they want to be able to arbitrarily decline people if they want to which is harder with strict requirements rather than general guidelines
why would that be weird?
but it might be similar u kno? or u might know all the same topics sliced up into different courses. for example intro to CS is like 80% basic concepts in java, 10% object oriented programming, and 10% assembly. intro to programming was 100% programming in C. the courses are very similar and the point of them isn't really the programming language so it's a bit strange to decide whether they should count as the same or not.
originally when i was transferring they decided the courses were too different, but when i showed them syllabi from other classes that involved object oriented programming, assembly, and java they said it was fine to count intro to prog as the same since i had filled in the gaps of knowledge i would have otherwise
it's a switch?
